Your Students (diverse learning levels, inclusive classroom in Dharmapuri)
Our students come from diverse backgrounds, and as a PGT Business Studies Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Business Studies to students of Class XI and XII. You will create engaging lesson plans, differentiated instruction, and support students with varying learning levels, including those with special needs.
Day-to-Day Duties (differentiated instruction, support for all learners)
- Teach Business Studies to Class XI and XII students
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations
- Develop and implement differentiated instruction to cater to diverse learning needs
- Support students with special needs and provide additional assistance as required
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement departmental plans
- Participate in school-wide initiatives and activities
- Conduct board-oriented preparation for Class XII exams
- Provide guidance to students on career options and higher education opportunities
- Engage with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and provide feedback
Required Qualifications
- Post-graduate degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Commerce (M.Com) with a specialization in Business Studies
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed with a specialization in Commerce or Business Studies
- NET or SET in Business Studies or a related field
- CTET or TET certification (not mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of Business Studies curriculum and pedagogy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with students, parents, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds
