About This Role
We are looking for an experienced PRT Science Teacher to join the team at Sri Viswabharathi Hr. Sec. School in Dharampuri, Dharmapuri, Tamilnadu. This is a full-time position that requires a passionate and dedicated educator with a strong background in Science.
Day-to-Day Duties
As a PRT Science Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Science to students from 1st to 5th standard. Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Conducting interactive Science classes, including demonstrations, storytelling, and hands-on activities.
- Preparing and implementing engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles.
- Conducting Science experiments and projects to promote hands-on learning.
- Developing and assessing worksheets and assessments to evaluate student progress.
- Maintaining a well-organized and safe Science laboratory.
- Collaborating with other teachers to plan and implement cross-curricular activities.
- Providing individualized attention and support to students with special needs.
- Communicating regularly with parents about student progress and achievements.
- Participating in school events and activities, such as Science fairs and exhibitions.
- Staying updated with the latest developments in Science education and incorporating them into your teaching.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this position, you should have a postgraduate degree in Science (M.Sc) or a relevant subject, along with a B.Ed degree. A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience is required, preferably in a school setting. Having passed the TET or CTET examination is preferable but not mandatory. You should also be fluent in Tamil and English.
