About This Role
What You Will Do
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans for Ibdp Accountancy classes, aligning with the International Baccalaureate curriculum and standards.
- Foster a love of learning in students, promoting critical thinking, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of Accountancy concepts and practices.
- Design and implement assessments that measure student progress, provide constructive feedback, and inform instruction.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives that enhance the learning experience for students.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Accountancy education, incorporating relevant technologies and resources into the classroom.
- Provide guidance and support to students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a seamless learning experience.
- Participate in school-wide professional development programs to enhance teaching practices and stay current with best practices in education.
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture that values diversity, equity, and mutual respect.
Eligibility
- Postgraduate degree in Accountancy or a related field (M.A., M.Sc., or M.Com).
- B.Ed or equivalent degree (D.El.Ed, TET, NET, SET, or CTET).
- At least 1 year of teaching experience in a recognized educational institution.
- Strong knowledge of the Ibdp Accountancy curriculum and assessment procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
