Your Students
Our students come from diverse backgrounds, with many belonging to farming families in Gobichettipalayam and surrounding villages. You will be working with students who are eager to learn and grow, and who will greatly benefit from your expertise in Computer Science.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Computer Science to Ibdp students, designing engaging lesson plans and assessments to meet their learning needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the Computer Science curriculum, ensuring it aligns with Ibdp requirements.
- Engage with parents and guardians through regular progress updates and parent-teacher meetings.
- Participate in school events and activities, such as science fairs and hackathons, to promote Computer Science and innovation.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local industry partners and experts to provide students with real-world learning opportunities.
- Contribute to the development of the school's Computer Science department, including curriculum design and resource development.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Computer Science and technology, incorporating these into your teaching practices.
- Support students in developing coding skills, programming languages, and software development.
Required Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience in teaching Computer Science to Ibdp students or a similar curriculum.
- Strong knowledge of Computer Science concepts, programming languages, and software development.
