About This Role

Day-to-Day Duties
- Teach Biology to students in classes 6 to 10
- Prepare and deliver lessons to students in a classroom setting
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students
- Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment
- Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of students
- Communicate with parents and teachers through regular progress reports and meetings
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school development
- Evaluate student performance and identify areas for improvement
- Conduct experiments and demonstrations to illustrate key concepts
Eligibility
Must Have
- Post-graduate degree in Biology or a related field
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
- Experience in teaching Biology to students in classes 6 to 10
- Good understanding of the Tamilnadu state syllabus for Biology
Good to Have
- NET or SET certification
- M.Ed degree
- Experience in teaching Biology in a CBSE school
Preferred Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and engage students in the learning process
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
