3. Assess student understanding through experiments, quizzes, and project-based tasks in English.
4. Maintain accurate records of experiments, observations, and student progress as per IB documentation norms.
5. Collaborate with the IB PYP team to integrate Chemistry with transdisciplinary themes and units of inquiry.
6. Communicate regularly with parents in Tamil or English to share student progress and upcoming lab activities.
7. Participate in staff meetings, IB PYP workshops, and school events in Gobichettipalayam and nearby areas.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Chemistry with a minimum of 50% marks. B.Ed or M.Ed preferred for pedagogical grounding. Experience teaching Chemistry at the middle school level is essential. Familiarity with IB PYP principles and inquiry-based learning is an advantage. Knowledge of Tamil is helpful but not mandatory.
