* Prepare students for History board exams, focusing on content expertise and practical application.
* Conduct regular parent-teacher meetings, to keep parents updated on student progress.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement department-level plans and projects.
* Use technology to enhance teaching, learning, and assessment, including the use of online resources and digital tools.
* Participate in school-wide initiatives, such as student career guidance and academic performance improvement.
* Mentor junior teachers and colleagues, to support their professional growth and development.
* Stay up-to-date with developments in the field of History, to ensure teaching remains relevant and engaging.
Required Qualifications
* Master's degree in History or a related field.
* B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree (completed or pursuing).
* NET/SET qualified (desired).
* Teaching experience of at least 2 years, preferably in a senior secondary school setting.
* Strong knowledge of the Tamilnadu state board curriculum for History.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
