About This Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced PGT Zoology Teacher to join our team at Narayana E-techno School | Gobichettipalayam. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Zoology to senior secondary students and will be a key member of our Science Department.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Teach Zoology to senior secondary students, following the Tamilnadu State Board curriculum.
- Prepare and deliver engaging lessons, using a range of teaching methods and resources.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to improve learning outcomes.
- Conduct experiments and demonstrations to illustrate key concepts in Zoology.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement cross-curricular projects and activities.
- Supervise students during laboratory sessions and ensure their safety.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this role, you will need to have a postgraduate degree in Zoology (M.Sc) and a B.Ed. or equivalent qualification. You should have a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a senior secondary school setting. The role requires strong subject knowledge, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
