About This Role

The PRT Dance Teacher Job in Erode will design movement-based lessons that connect Bharatanatyam basics with modern fitness concepts.
How You Will Teach
Lessons will run on smart boards with pre-loaded audio clips and animated mudra demonstrations. You will upload practice videos to Google Classroom for students to review at home. The LMS tracks daily attendance, assignment submissions, and skill progress automatically.
What You Will Do
Create weekly lesson plans aligned with primary movement milestones and school themes.
Record short demo videos on your phone and upload to Google Drive for parent reference.
Use QR codes in textbooks so students can scan and watch step-by-step breakdowns.
Host live warm-up sessions via Google Meet before in-school practice periods.
Assign digital worksheets on posture angles that students fill on tablets during class.
Run blended sessions where half the class learns online while the other half performs on the floor.
Collaborate with the art coordinator to map dance concepts to annual cultural events.
Generate weekly progress reports through the LMS and share PDFs with parents.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Dance or Performing Arts with minimum two years of teaching experience.
B.Ed or M.Ed preferred; D.El.Ed candidates with strong dance portfolios also welcome.
Prior use of Google Classroom, LMS, and basic video editing tools is necessary.
