What You Will Do
1. Plan and deliver lesson plans for Tamil language and literature to students from 1st to 5th standard.
2. Use interactive and activity-based learning methods to engage students in the learning process.
3. Prepare and distribute worksheets, assignments, and projects to students to reinforce learning.
4. Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress.
5. Maintain a student-friendly classroom environment and ensure discipline and order.
6. Communicate regularly with parents through parent-teacher meetings and progress reports.
7. Participate in school events and activities, such as cultural festivals and parent-teacher meetings.
8. Collaborate with other teachers to plan and implement curriculum activities.
9. Stay updated with the latest teaching methods and technologies to enhance student learning.
Eligibility
Must Have:
- Post-graduate degree in Tamil literature or equivalent.
- B.Ed. degree from a recognized university.
- CTET certification (preferably).
- 3 years of teaching experience in a school setting.
Good to Have:
- M.Ed. degree or equivalent.
- NET or SET certification.
- Experience in teaching Tamil language and literature to students from 1st to 5th standard.
Preferred Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate with other teachers.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with digital teaching tools and technologies.
- Ability to adapt to changing curriculum requirements and teaching methods.
