Day-to-Day Duties
1. Plan and deliver structured English lessons for nursery and lower kindergarten classes.
2. Use picture cards, stories, and songs to introduce new words and sounds.
3. Conduct daily reading sessions with small groups to improve listening and pronunciation.
4. Assess student progress through simple oral and written tasks.
5. Maintain attendance and daily observation notes in school registers.
6. Prepare monthly English activity plans aligned with the school’s NTT curriculum.
7. Organize storytelling competitions and rhyme recitation events.
8. Communicate progress to parents during bi-monthly parent-teacher interactions.
9. Support school events such as annual day and sports day with English-related activities.
Who Can Apply
Must Have
- Graduate in any discipline with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed from a recognized institution
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in English for early learners
- Fluency in English and Tamil; basic knowledge of Malayalam is an added advantage
- Familiarity with phonics-based teaching methods
- Ability to create simple teaching aids using locally available materials
Good to Have
- TET or CTET certification
- Experience in international school settings
- Exposure to Montessori or play-way methods
- Knowledge of child psychology and classroom management techniques
