About This Role
We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced Music Teacher to join Mahatma Schools in Madurai. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Music to students from 6th to 10th standard. As a TGT Music Teacher, you will be expected to create a lively and engaging classroom environment that fosters music appreciation and learning.
What You Will Do
1. Plan and deliver Music lessons to students from 6th to 10th standard.
2. Assess student performance and provide feedback to improve music skills.
3. Conduct periodic assessments to evaluate student progress.
4. Prepare students for Music exams and assessments.
5. Collaborate with other teachers to plan and implement music-related activities.
6. Use a variety of teaching methods to engage students and promote music learning.
7. Maintain a well-organized and safe music classroom.
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have a post-graduate degree in Music or a related field (M.A. Music, M.Sc Music, M.A. Performing Arts) and a B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree. The successful candidate will also have a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience as a TGT Music Teacher. Familiarity with Tamil Nadu government school syllabus and experience in teaching Music to students from 6th to 10th standard is highly desirable.
