Responsibilities
1. Design and deliver engaging political science lessons for classes 9 to 12, aligning with the state curriculum.
2. Prepare lesson plans, study material, and assessment tools that promote analytical skills.
3. Conduct classroom discussions, debates, and role‑plays to deepen students’ understanding of political concepts.
4. Evaluate student performance through tests, projects, and continuous assessment, providing constructive feedback.
5. Maintain accurate attendance, progress reports, and academic records.
6. Mentor and support students in extracurricular activities such as Model UN or debate clubs.
7. Collaborate with colleagues to integrate interdisciplinary projects and school events.
8. Participate in faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and school committees.
Qualification and Experience
Post‑graduate degree in Political Science or related field. B.Ed or D.El.Ed mandatory; TET/CTET preferred. Minimum two years of teaching experience at the PGT level, preferably in a school setting. Strong communication skills, classroom management ability, and a proactive approach to student development are essential.
Salary and Location
Rs.38,000 – Rs.70,000 per month; Tiruchengode, Namakkal, Tamilnadu.
