About This Role
Ssm Central Senior Secondary School integrates digital tools across classrooms to make Science engaging and accessible. Smart boards, Google Classroom, and an in-house LMS are used daily to support blended learning. The PRT Science Teacher will play a key role in using these resources effectively for young learners.
How You Will Teach
Lessons will blend hands-on experiments with digital simulations on smart boards. Google Classroom will host assignments, quizzes, and feedback for students in Grades 1 to 5. The LMS will track progress and allow parents to monitor their child’s Science learning remotely.
Day-to-Day Duties
Prepare weekly lesson plans using the school’s digital curriculum templates for Science. Conduct interactive Science sessions using smart boards and curated digital content from approved sources. Upload assignments, worksheets, and experiment videos on Google Classroom every Friday.
Grade student submissions on Google Classroom within 48 hours of submission. Maintain digital attendance and behavior records in the school’s LMS daily. Assist in organizing Science fairs and lab demonstrations with tech support.
Support teachers in other grades by sharing Science teaching resources in the staff LMS. Attend monthly tech training sessions to learn new tools for Science instruction. Report any technical issues with smart boards or LMS to the IT team promptly.
Who Can Apply
Candidates must be graduates with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed from a recognized institution. Prior experience teaching Science to primary students is required. Familiarity with TET or CTET is preferred but not mandatory.
Skills We Value
