Primary Duties:
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in Business Studies at A-level and GCSE. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and delivering engaging lesson plans to students
- Assessing student progress and providing regular feedback
- Maintaining accurate records of student performance and attendance
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement school policies and strategies
- Providing support and guidance to students outside of class
- Assisting with extracurricular activities and events
- Maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Staying up-to-date with curriculum developments and best practices
- Managing classroom resources and equipment
- Liaising with parents and guardians to keep them informed about student progress
- Contributing to school events and activities
Position Overview:
As a Post Graduate Teacher Business Studies, you will be expected to perform the following daily tasks:
- Arrive at school by 8:00 am to prepare for the day
- Teach Business Studies lessons to A-level and GCSE students
- Mark and provide feedback on student assignments and exams
- Conduct parent-teacher conferences to discuss student progress
- Attend staff meetings to discuss school policies and strategies
- Supervise students during break times
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance
- Develop and implement lesson plans to meet student needs
- Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and best practices
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school policies and strategies
- Assist with extracurricular activities and events
