Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced PGT History teacher to join our faculty at a leading Tier 4 general school. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching History and a proven track record of delivering excellent academic results.
Performance Expectations (Outcome Expectations):
- To achieve outstanding student results in History, with a minimum of 85% of students achieving A*-C grades at GCSE and A-level.
- To develop and implement engaging and challenging lesson plans that meet the needs of all students.
- To provide high-quality feedback to students, parents and colleagues, and to use this feedback to inform teaching practices.
- To contribute to the development of the History curriculum and to participate in curriculum review and development.

Primary Duties:
- To teach History to students of all ages and abilities, including GCSE and A-level students.

- To contribute to the development of the History curriculum and to participate in curriculum review and development.
- To participate in departmental and school-wide activities, including staff meetings and training sessions.

Requirements:
- Postgraduate degree in History or a related subject.
- At least 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a Tier 4 general school.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents and colleagues.
