Job Title: Primary RE Teacher
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Primary Religious Education (RE) teacher to join our team at our Tier 4 school. As an RE teacher, you will be responsible for teaching students in Key Stage 2, providing high-quality education and fostering a love of learning in your students.

- Class sizes: Average 25 students per class, with a student-teacher ratio of 1:15

Student Profile:
- Age group: KS2 students (7-11 years old)
- Student intake: 120 students per year group
- Measurable outcomes:
- 80% of students achieve a Good level of attainment in RE at the end of KS2
- 90% of students show improved RE skills, as measured by regular progress checks
Your Responsibilities:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, RE, or a related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience of teaching RE in a primary school setting, with a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging lessons
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Performance Expectations:
- KPIs:
- To deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all students
- To achieve a Good level of attainment in RE for 80% of students
- To maintain a student-teacher ratio of 1:15 or better
- Targets:
- To reduce the percentage of students achieving a Needs Improvement level of attainment in RE by 10% within the first 6 months of employment
Salary and Compensation:
- Salary range: £28,000-£40,000 per annum, depending on experience
