Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Permanent Residential Teacher (PRT) Mathematics teacher to join our faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Mathematics to students in our school, contributing to the development of a rich and engaging curriculum, and promoting student achievement and well-being.
The PRT Mathematics teacher will be expected to:
- Teach Mathematics to students at various levels, including GCSE and A-Level, and other relevant qualifications
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to improve student outcomes
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to promote a cohesive and effective learning environment
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Participate in school-wide initiatives and professional development opportunities
- Adhere to school policies and procedures, including those related to student safety and well-being
Workplace Environment
Minimum Requirements:
- A graduate degree in Mathematics or a related field
- A minimum of 1 year of teaching experience in Mathematics
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a diverse range of students and staff
Preferred Requirements:
- Teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, B.Ed.)
- Experience working in a Tier 4 area
- Familiarity with Mathematics curriculum and assessment requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Salary and Compensation
The salary for this position will be in line with the UK Department for Education's pay scales for PRTs. The annual salary will be £35,000 - £45,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, the successful candidate will be entitled to:
