Role Overview
Kr International School | Theni invites applications for a PRT Tamil Teacher. The position is full‑time and based in Theni, Tamilnadu. The successful candidate will join a dynamic teaching team focused on delivering high quality Tamil language instruction to students.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging Tamil lessons for classes in line with the school curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessment tools that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Conduct classroom assessments, track student progress, and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and school events to support a collaborative learning environment.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and curiosity.
Requirements
- Graduate degree with a minimum of three years teaching experience in Tamil.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory; TET/CTET certification is preferred but not required.
- Strong command of Tamil language, literature, and grammar.
- Excellent communication skills in Tamil and English.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs and promote academic growth.
Compensation
Salary range: Rs.18,000 – Rs.30,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
