What you will do
Plan and conduct daily dance classes for primary students at Srv Academy.
Teach Bharatanatyam, folk and creative dance forms to children aged 6-12.
Prepare simple choreographies for annual day and inter-house competitions.
Organize practice sessions before school events and festivals.
Assess student progress through periodic informal evaluations.
Maintain discipline and safety during dance rehearsals.
Collaborate with other PRTs for school assemblies and cultural programs.
Document lesson plans and student participation records.
Participate in staff meetings and dance curriculum reviews at Srv Academy.
What you need
Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Dance Teacher in a school.
Familiarity with Indian classical and folk dance forms.
Ability to work with children in a classroom setting.
Basic knowledge of child psychology and classroom management.
Skills that matter
Strong command over Bharatanatyam or other classical styles.
Creative choreography skills for school performances.
Patience to teach beginners and young learners.
Good communication with students, parents, and staff.
Willingness to learn and adapt to school teaching methods.
