Job Description
PGT Botany Teacher Responsibilities
Teach Botany at Sri R.m.jain Vidhyashram, covering high school and senior secondary curriculum. Prepare detailed lesson plans, including practical demonstrations and field studies, to engage students with plant biology concepts.
Deliver lectures, conduct experiments, and manage lab sessions to reinforce theoretical knowledge with hands-on learning. Assess student performance through written exams, projects, and continuous evaluation to track progress.
Maintain updated syllabus materials, textbooks, and lab equipment to ensure a well-equipped and relevant learning environment. Collaborate with subject coordinators to align teaching methods with institutional academic standards.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in Botany or a related field. Possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification for formal teaching roles in schools.
Minimum two years of teaching experience in Botany or a science subject at the secondary or senior secondary level. Experience in curriculum development and student engagement preferred.
Salary for the role is Rs.36,000 to Rs.60,000 per month, offering a full-time employment contract in Tiruvallur, Tamil Nadu.
