Sri R.m.jain Vidhyashram in Tiruvallur, Tamilnadu is looking for a dedicated Special Educator to join its full‑time administrative team. The role focuses on supporting students with special needs through strategic planning, coordination, and resource management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized support plans for students identified with learning, physical or emotional challenges, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Coordinate with parents, counselors and external agencies to provide a seamless support network for each student.
- Conduct regular assessments and progress reviews, updating documentation and reporting to senior management.
- Lead the school’s inclusive education initiatives, training staff and facilitating workshops on best practices.
- Manage the allocation and maintenance of assistive technology, learning aids and adaptive equipment.
- Oversee the integration of special education services within the broader school curriculum, ensuring accessibility for all learners.
Qualifications and Experience
- Post‑graduate degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar administrative or leadership capacity.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed required; TET/CTET preferred but not mandatory.
Compensation
Salary ranges from Rs.22,000 to Rs.40,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
