PRT Art and Craft Teacher Position at Yajur Public School in Hanamkonda

The selected candidate will design and implement engaging art lessons, covering themes like painting, pottery, crafting, and basic design principles. Daily classroom management will include monitoring student behavior, providing individual attention, and ensuring safety during creative activities. Collaborate with the art department to update teaching methods and materials based on student feedback and school policies. Organize art workshops and extracurricular events to encourage participation and showcase student talent. Prepare lesson plans that integrate art with other subjects like science or social studies for interdisciplinary learning. Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and participation in art activities. Ensure all equipment and materials are clean, organized, and available for use. Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions to stay updated on teaching best practices. Support special needs students by adapting activities to meet their learning needs. Represent the school at local art fairs or competitions if required.
To qualify, hold a graduate degree with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Two years of teaching experience in an educational setting is preferred, though not mandatory. TET or CTET certification is not mandatory but will be an advantage. The role offers a monthly salary of Rs.20,000 to Rs.40,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
