What You Will Do
* Lead the Chemistry department, setting goals, priorities, and performance expectations for staff members
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring effective management of resources and personnel
* Develop and implement policies, procedures, and strategies to improve departmental performance and student outcomes
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of academic programs and services
* Manage budgets, allocate resources, and make informed financial decisions
* Communicate with students, parents, and staff to address concerns, provide updates, and promote a positive school culture
* Foster partnerships with local organizations, institutions, and community groups to enhance the school's reputation and offerings
* Monitor and evaluate departmental performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
* Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including parents, teachers, and external partners
Eligibility
* Postgraduate degree (M.Sc.) in Chemistry or a related field
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership or administrative role in a school or educational setting
* Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects
* Familiarity with school administration, policies, and procedures
