This is a non-teaching leadership role where you oversee 120 boys and girls aged 12–17. The post calls for a calm problem-solver who can handle late-night emergencies as confidently as morning assembly counts.
What You Will Do
Supervise dormitories from 10 PM to 6 AM, making surprise rounds to ensure lights-out compliance and student safety. Handle cash disbursement for student needs, keep daily logs, and submit reports to the Principal by 9 AM. Coordinate with housekeeping to maintain clean washrooms, dining halls, and study areas before classes start.
Organize weekend movie nights, indoor games, and Telugu/Hindi cultural activities that keep students engaged. Manage petty cash for stationery, snacks, and medical emergencies, maintaining vouchers and bills for audit. Mediate conflicts between students, document incidents, and escalate serious cases to the Principal.
Liaise with parents during weekly WhatsApp calls and quarterly open houses to update them on attendance, behavior, and academic alerts. Oversee biometric attendance twice daily and prepare defaulter lists for the Principal by 5 PM.
Eligibility
Postgraduate in any discipline with minimum 50% marks. Two years of experience in school hostel administration or residential care. Preference for candidates familiar with Telangana school culture and bilingual communication.
Perks and Pay
Rs.20,000 – Rs.34,000 per month based on experience and qualifications. In-house accommodation, subsidized meals, and annual health check-ups included.
