Prepare detailed lesson plans, assessments, and project-based activities. Collaborate with the science department to ensure cohesive curriculum delivery across grades. Maintain a well-stocked chemistry lab and ensure safety protocols are followed during experiments.
Engage with parents and students to address academic concerns and encourage a growth mindset in chemistry learning. Attend departmental meetings and participate in professional development workshops. Foster a supportive learning environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.
Qualification
Hold a postgraduate degree in Chemistry with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Possess a valid TET/CTET certificate as a preference. Strong subject knowledge and teaching experience in high school chemistry are essential.
Experience
Proven experience of at least two years in teaching chemistry at the senior secondary level. Familiarity with modern teaching techniques and educational technology is highly valued. A background in mentoring students and guiding them through challenging concepts is a must.
