Role Summary
We are seeking a Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Geography to join our teaching faculty at Narayana E-techno School in Tirumalagiri, Hyderabad, Telangana. As a PGT Geography Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Geography to senior secondary students, preparing them for board exams, and mentoring junior teachers.
What You Will Do
- Teach Geography to senior secondary students, emphasizing practical skills and subject expertise
- Prepare students for board exams, focusing on exam strategies and time management
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and school policies
- Mentor junior teachers, providing guidance on teaching methods and subject matter
- Participate in academic planning and coordination with other departments
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school programs and activities
- Engage with parents and students to provide career guidance and academic support
- Stay updated on curriculum changes and developments in the field of Geography
- Contribute to school events and activities, promoting a positive school culture
Eligibility
- Post Graduate degree in Geography or relevant field
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
- NET or SET qualification (preferable)
- 2 years of teaching experience in a senior secondary school
- Strong subject expertise and teaching skills
- Ability to work in a team and take initiative
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Salary and Benefits
- Salary: Rs.30,000 - Rs.50,000 per month (depending on experience and qualifications)
