About This Role
Ravindra Bharathi School seeks a dedicated PGT Mathematics Teacher to join its faculty for the upcoming academic year. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Mathematics to students from VI to XII standards, and will be based at our school in Asifnagar, Hyderabad, Telangana.
How You Will Teach
As a Mathematics Teacher at Ravindra Bharathi School, you will employ practical methods, including group discussions, problem-solving sessions, and hands-on activities to make complex concepts accessible to students. You will also utilize technology, such as online resources and educational software, to enhance teaching and learning. Our school has well-equipped laboratories and activity rooms, where you will conduct experiments and activities to reinforce mathematical concepts.
What You Will Do
* Plan, prepare, and deliver Mathematics lessons to students from VI to XII standards
* Conduct regular assessments, quizzes, and tests to evaluate student progress
* Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, incorporating local and global Mathematics resources
* Utilize technology to enhance teaching and learning, and to create interactive learning experiences
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement Mathematics curriculum
* Provide individualized support to students who require extra attention
* Contribute to the development of Mathematics resources, such as textbooks, worksheets, and assessments
* Participate in school-wide Mathematics events, such as Mathematics fairs and competitions
* Stay updated with the latest developments in Mathematics education, and share best practices with colleagues
* Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure seamless communication
Required Qualifications
A post-graduate degree in Mathematics or a related field, such as B.Ed or D.El.Ed, is required for this role. TET or CTET certification is preferred, but not mandatory.
