Physical Education Teacher Job in Hyderabad, Telangana | School Vacancy
Qualification
A graduate with B.Ed or D.El.Ed is essential. Candidates should have cleared TET/CTET and possess at least five years of experience in managing school‑level sports programmes. Strong knowledge of national physical education standards and experience in coordinating inter‑school events are required. Proficiency in Hindi and English, along with good computer skills for maintaining records, will be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, organise and supervise all physical education activities across the campus, ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed. Oversee the scheduling of sports sessions, manage equipment inventory, and liaise with vendors for timely procurement and maintenance. Lead the development of annual sports calendars, arrange participation in district and state competitions, and prepare performance reports for senior management.
Manage a team of assistant staff, providing guidance, training and performance feedback to maintain high service standards. Conduct regular audits of facilities, recommend upgrades, and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines. Collaborate with the principal and department heads to integrate physical wellness initiatives into the broader school curriculum.
Handle budgeting for the physical education department, monitor expenditures, and submit financial statements as required. Engage with parents and the community to promote the academy’s sports programmes, organise outreach events, and represent Redwood Global Academy at external forums.
Maintain comprehensive records of student participation, health clearances, and achievement logs. Use data analytics to assess programme effectiveness and suggest improvements. Ensure that all activities align with the school’s vision of holistic development and foster a culture of sportsmanship among students.
Salary
Rs.18,000 – Rs.35,000 per month.
