Who You Will Teach
You will teach Classes 1 to 5 in mixed-ability sections where learners speak Telugu, Hindi and English at home. Some students need extra time with typing and logic puzzles, while others finish early and explore Scratch projects.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare weekly lesson plans that build from drawing shapes in MS Paint to writing first Python-style pseudocode for Class 5.
Use visual, auditory and kinesthetic tools—flashcards, screen recordings, unplugged activities—so every child understands loops and conditionals.
Set up classroom centers with keyboards, tablets and robots for hands-on learning during each period.
Assess progress through simple rubrics, not written tests, so a child who speaks only Urdu still shows understanding.
Conduct remedial sessions after school for learners who need more practice with algorithms.
Organize small group projects where boys and girls work together, breaking gender stereotypes in tech.
Maintain a clean lab corner with working machines and child-sized chairs to avoid strain.
Collaborate with the school counselor to spot learners who feel anxious about typing tests.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduation in any discipline with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is mandatory.
Two years of full-time teaching experience in primary grades is preferred.
Prior teaching of Computer Science at PRT level is advantageous.
TET/CTET certification is not compulsory but will be considered.
