Professional Scope
The role involves delivering the Primary Resource Teacher (PRT) curriculum for dance to classes in grades 1‑5 at Iris Florets World School. You will be part of the arts department, coordinating with the head of school to integrate movement activities into the broader co‑curricular program.
Key Responsibilities
Planning and conducting age‑appropriate dance lessons that develop rhythm, coordination and cultural appreciation is central. You will assess student progress, maintain attendance registers, and prepare simple performance pieces for school functions. Regular interaction with parents and participation in staff meetings are also expected.
Subject‑Specific Duties
Designing lesson plans that blend Indian classical forms with contemporary styles, using props and music suited to young learners, forms the core of the Dance Teaching Job in Hyderabad.
