Role Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Teach Environmental Studies (Evs) to students from 1st to 5th standard at Narayana E-techno School in Mareedpally, Hyderabad.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, incorporating interactive learning methods, practical activities, and demonstrations to promote student participation and understanding of Evs concepts.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Foster a positive learning environment, emphasizing classroom discipline, respect for peers and teachers, and responsible behavior.
- Engage with parents through regular progress updates, workshops, and meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Stay updated with the latest teaching methodologies, curriculum frameworks, and educational technologies to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement school-wide initiatives, projects, and activities that promote environmental awareness and sustainable practices.
- Participate in school-based committees, such as the Evs Committee, to contribute to curriculum development, resource generation, and teacher training.
- Develop and maintain a well-organized, student-centered classroom environment, utilizing multimedia resources, educational aids, and innovative teaching tools.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Environmental Science, Education, or related field (M.A., M.Sc., M.Ed., NET, SET).
- B.Ed degree from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching Evs to primary school students.
- Strong knowledge of the Telangana State curriculum for primary school students.
- Familiarity with the TET or CTET exam would be advantageous, but not mandatory.
