Narayana e-Techno School
Job Description
school_heading
Narayana E-techno School in Mareedpally is a lively learning hub where teachers swap ideas over coffee in the staff room and children bring their curiosity from the playground straight into the classroom. The Mathematics team here believes numbers are best understood through stories and hands-on play, especially in the early years when foundational concepts take root. Located in the heart of Hyderabad, the school blends Telugu and English medium interactions seamlessly, making every maths lesson a small cultural exchange.
Role Summary
This full-time PRT Mathematics Teacher vacancy in Hyderabad will guide students from grades 1 to 5 through playful number adventures, turning abstract shapes and operations into tangible experiences. You will collaborate with colleagues to design monthly maths fairs, where children showcase puzzles and patterns they have built themselves. At Narayana E-techno School, your classroom will double as a maths laboratory where counters, blocks, and everyday objects become teaching aids.
Day-to-Day Duties
Plan weekly maths activities that include counting walks around the Mareedpally campus, shape hunts in the playground, and board games that teach addition and subtraction.
Create simple worksheets with colourful illustrations to reinforce concepts after each hands-on session.
Conduct quick oral drills using flash cards and number songs in Telugu and English to build speed and confidence.
Organise peer teaching moments where older students guide younger ones through basic counting games.
Use storytelling to introduce early geometry—think of characters shaped like triangles and circles solving daily problems.
Prepare monthly maths corners in the corridor where parents can see their children’s work during pickup.
Attend weekly subject meetings to share student progress and swap new activity ideas.
Communicate regularly with parents through WhatsApp groups, sharing photos of classroom maths in action.
Eligibility
Postgraduate in Mathematics or a related field with a minimum of two years of classroom experience in primary grades.
Valid B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree recognised by NCTE.
Familiarity with interactive teaching tools and willingness to attend local maths workshops in Hyderabad.
Prior experience in Telugu-medium or bilingual settings is a plus.
Work Culture
At Narayana E-techno School, the maths team meets every Friday for a twenty-minute idea swap over chai, where teachers demo new puzzles and vote on the best ones for the next week.
Classroom discipline is maintained through clear routines—children know that maths time starts with a five-minute mindfulness activity followed by a quick warm-up game.
Parent interactions happen casually during pickup, often while children show off their latest maths creations drawn on the pavement with chalk.
What You Get
Rs.20,000 - Rs.40,000 per month, based on experience and qualifications.
School holidays aligned with Telangana government calendar, plus three in-service training days per year.
Access to a small maths resource library stocked with manipulatives and activity guides curated by the team.
