PRT Science Teacher Job in Hyderabad, Telangana
About This Role
Narayana Co School in Himayatnagar, Hyderabad, Telangana is looking for a PRT Science Teacher to shape foundational science understanding for students in grades 1 to 5. The role is part of the ongoing Science Teacher Recruitment in Telangana for a full-time position. You will design hands-on activities and simple experiments to make science engaging and accessible for young learners.
How You Will Teach
Science lessons will include storytelling around scientific concepts, interactive demonstrations using everyday materials, and small group experiments that can be completed in classroom time. You will create simple worksheets with diagrams and short questions to reinforce learning. Lab safety and curiosity-driven exploration will guide every session.
What You Will Do
Prepare weekly science activity plans aligned with the school curriculum and local academic standards.
Conduct at least two practical demonstrations per week using low-cost materials available in the classroom.
Maintain a classroom science corner with labeled specimens, charts, and student work samples.
Assess student understanding through oral questions, observation checklists, and short worksheets.
Organize monthly science fairs or exhibitions where students present simple projects.
Collaborate with other PRT teachers to integrate science with language and math through cross-curricular activities.
Communicate with parents during PTMs and through notebook notes about student progress in science.
Attend monthly subject teacher meetings at Narayana Co School to share best practices and receive updates.
Eligibility
Bachelor’s degree in Science or related field with minimum 50% marks.
D.El.Ed or B.Ed with specialization in Science or elementary education.
Prior teaching experience of at least 3 years in primary classes, preferably in a Science Teaching Job in Hyderabad.
Familiarity with local Telugu and English medium classroom environments.
