Nestled in the bustling neighbourhood of Shaikpet, Hyderabad, Delhi Public School serves families from the surrounding suburbs and the city’s growing professional community. The school’s catch‑area stretches from the old city to the newer tech corridors, so you’ll find children whose parents work in everything from software firms to small businesses. Because the campus sits right on the edge of Shaikpet’s main road, it’s easy for parents to drop off and pick up their kids without getting lost in traffic.
What makes DPS a comfortable place for both students and teachers is the way the day runs. Classes are taught in English from Nursery up to Class XII, following the CBSE curriculum, which gives a clear structure while still allowing teachers to explore concepts in depth. The teachers are a mix of long‑time staff and newer educators, so there’s a blend of experience and fresh ideas that keeps lessons lively without feeling rushed.
The 6.5‑acre campus feels more like a small town than a school. Smart classrooms are wired for interactive lessons, and the STEM and robotics labs have the kind of equipment that lets kids actually build what they learn about. There’s a library with over 30,000 books, an amphitheatre for school functions, and sports fields that see cricket, football and athletics practice almost every afternoon. These facilities give students space to move beyond the textbook and try their hand at something practical.
