What You Will Do
Plan and deliver comprehensive Hindi lessons aligned with CBSE curriculum for middle and secondary sections, ensuring coverage of prose, poetry, grammar, and writing skills. Conduct regular class tests and periodic assessments to track progress and identify areas needing reinforcement, providing timely feedback to students and parents. Guide students for Hindi board exams with focused test preparation, including sample papers, revision drills, and doubt-clearing sessions.
Organize Hindi recitation competitions, essay writing contests, and debate sessions to foster language appreciation and public speaking skills among students. Collaborate with subject teachers across Narayana E-techno School to integrate cross-curricular themes and promote Hindi language usage in science, social studies, and art activities. Prepare students for state-level and national Hindi competitions such as CBSE Expression Series and Sahitya Akademi events.
Mentor students for Hindi Olympiad and other competitive examinations, maintaining a record of participation and performance. Participate in parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress in Hindi and suggest home-based learning strategies. Contribute to school magazines and newsletters by editing Hindi content and encouraging student submissions.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Hindi with minimum 55% marks from a recognized university. B.Ed or equivalent teaching qualification is mandatory. Minimum 3 years of teaching experience as a Hindi educator in a CBSE or state board school environment.
TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory. Proficiency in spoken and written Hindi is essential, along with familiarity with digital teaching tools and platforms. Experience in coaching students for board exams and competitive Hindi events is an added advantage.
