Subject-specific responsibilities include designing lesson plans that integrate primary sources, maps, and oral histories. You’ll develop critical thinking skills by analyzing ancient civilizations, colonial policies, and contemporary socio-political movements. Fieldwork opportunities in Hyderabad’s historical sites—like Charminar or Golconda Fort—will enhance curriculum delivery.
Assessment tasks will involve evaluating student research projects, debate performances, and written examinations. Practical work includes preparing visual aids, managing school archives, and collaborating with the history department to align syllabi with national standards.
For this TGT History Teacher position, a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate in History is mandatory. TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory. Two years of teaching experience in schools is required, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in state boards or international curricula.
