Teaching Methodology (Specialized approaches)
As an Evs teacher, you will be expected to employ specialized approaches that incorporate hands-on learning, project-based assessments, and interdisciplinary connections. Your teaching methodology should foster critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills in students, while also promoting environmental awareness and sustainability.
Your Responsibilities
- Teach Environmental Studies to students from Class 6 to 8
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote academic excellence
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and improve teaching methodologies
- Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and extracurricular activities
Teaching Methodology (Niche requirements)
- Experience with inquiry-based learning and project-based assessments
- Familiarity with environmental education frameworks and standards
- Ability to design and implement place-based learning experiences
- Knowledge of outdoor education and wilderness skills (desirable)

- A library with a collection of environmental and science-focused texts

Minimum Requirements
- Graduate degree in Environmental Science, Education, or a related field

- Strong commitment to environmental education and sustainability
