About This Role
The Maths HOD will lead the Mathematics department at Sanctus World School in Samshabad, Ranga Reddy. The role involves academic planning, faculty coordination, and strategic development of the department. This is a full-time, non-teaching leadership position requiring a postgraduate in Mathematics and prior administrative experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee curriculum design and assessment frameworks for Mathematics from grades 6 to 12.
2. Mentor and evaluate a team of Mathematics educators to ensure consistent teaching standards.
3. Align departmental goals with the school’s academic vision and CBSE/ICSE guidelines.
4. Organize and lead professional development sessions for Mathematics faculty.
5. Manage resource allocation, including textbooks, lab equipment, and digital tools.
6. Represent the Mathematics department in parent-teacher meetings and school events.
7. Ensure timely submission of academic reports, student progress analytics, and compliance documents.

Eligibility Criteria
Postgraduate degree in Mathematics is mandatory. B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is preferred. Proficiency in MS Office and basic statistical tools is required. Prior experience in a school leadership role is essential.
