About This Role
We are seeking a qualified PRT Social Science Teacher to join our faculty at Rabindra Bharathi School. As a PRT Social Science Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Social Science to students from Classes VI to X. You will also be expected to participate in curriculum development, staff meetings, and other school activities. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver lessons on Social Science to students from Classes VI to X.
- Prepare and administer assessments, quizzes, and exams to evaluate student progress.
- Develop and implement engaging and interactive teaching methods to promote student learning.
- Collaborate with other teachers to develop and implement curriculum plans.
- Attend staff meetings and participate in school activities as required.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
- Maintain a safe and respectful classroom environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) from a recognized institution.
- Post-graduate degree in Social Science or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have passed the Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET).
