Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver Physical Education lessons that cater to diverse learning needs and abilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to improve their physical fitness and sports skills
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide Physical Education programs and events
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessments
- Develop and implement strategies to promote physical activity and sports participation among students
- Foster a positive and inclusive school culture that values diversity, equity, and social responsibility
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Physical Education and sports science to inform teaching practices
- Participate in school committees and contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to Physical Education
Required Qualifications
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed in Physical Education or related field
- TET/CTET qualification preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a TGT Physical Education Teacher
- Post-graduate degree in Physical Education or related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Familiarity with the curriculum and pedagogical practices in Physical Education
