Day-to-Day Duties
As an ASSISTANT PROFESSOR - Power Electronics, your primary responsibilities will include:
* Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Power Electronics, Power Systems, and related areas
* Advising students on academic matters, including course selection and research projects
* Contributing to academic administration, such as curriculum development, exam planning, and faculty meetings
* Participating in departmental and university-wide committees as required
* Engaging in research and publication activities to maintain academic currency
* Collaborating with industry partners and other universities for joint research projects and academic exchanges
* Participating in academic events, conferences, and seminars to stay updated on the latest developments in the field
Required Qualifications
To be eligible for this position, you must possess a Ph.D. in Power Electronics or a related field from a recognized university. Industry experience in Power Electronics or related areas is highly desirable. UGC norms apply, and NET/SLET certification is required if the Ph.D. is not completed.
