Postgraduate Students
Guide M.Tech students in advanced courses like Advanced High Voltage Engineering and Insulation Coordination. Supervise M.Tech dissertations and project work in relevant domains. Encourage research in emerging areas such as SF6 gas insulation and partial discharge diagnostics.
Facilitate interdisciplinary projects with other engineering departments. Promote publication of research findings in peer-reviewed journals. Support students in applying for research grants and conferences.
Eligibility Criteria
Postgraduate degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in High Voltage Engineering or Power Systems is mandatory. Ph.D. in a relevant field is preferred; candidates with NET/SLET qualification are eligible if Ph.D. is not completed. Minimum 55% marks in postgraduation as per UGC norms.
