The position is for an ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR - Compiler Design at Sr University, Hasanparthy, Warangal, Telangana. This Compiler Design ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR Job in Warangal will contribute to curriculum development and research in compiler technologies. What You Will Do
Teach undergraduate courses such as Principles of Compiler Design, Automata Theory, and Programming Language Paradigms. Deliver engaging lectures and conduct hands-on lab sessions using modern compiler tools. Guide students in mini-projects and assignments focused on lexer, parser, and code generation concepts.
Evaluate student performance through continuous assessment, mid-semester tests, and end-semester examinations. Mentor students for participation in national-level technical events and hackathons. Collaborate with the departmental team to update syllabi as per industry and research trends. Organize seminars and workshops on emerging compiler technologies and optimization techniques.
Master Level Teaching
At the master’s level, handle courses like Advanced Compiler Design, Just-In-Time Compilation, and Compiler Optimizations. Supervise M.Tech and M.Sc dissertations in compiler-related areas such as register allocation, data-flow analysis, and domain-specific language design. Encourage students to publish findings in peer-reviewed conferences and journals.
Guide Ph.D. scholars in compiler design research, focusing on areas like parallel compilation, energy-efficient code generation, or machine learning for compiler optimization. Facilitate joint research projects with industry partners in Hyderabad and Bengaluru. Support interdisciplinary research linking compiler design with artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.
Eligibility Criteria
Ph.D. in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with minimum 55% marks from a recognized university. Candidates must have qualified NET/SLET or GATE as per UGC norms. Strong publication record in Scopus/WoS indexed journals in compiler design or related fields is essential.
Minimum 3 years of full-time teaching or research experience in compiler design at university level. Demonstrated expertise in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate compiler courses. Experience with LLVM, GCC, or similar compiler frameworks is preferred.
Learning and Development
Performance will be evaluated based on Academic Performance Indicators (API) as per UGC regulations. Opportunities for attending national and international conferences in compiler design and software engineering. Faculty development programs are conducted regularly at Sr University to enhance teaching and research skills.
Career advancement through internal promotions based on teaching excellence, research output, and contribution to academic administration. Salary and Benefits
