Day-to-Day Duties
As an ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR, you will be responsible for:
1. Teaching high voltage engineering courses to undergraduate students and guiding them in their research projects.
2. Developing and updating course materials, including lecture notes, assignments, and examinations.
3. Conducting tutorials, demonstrations, and practical sessions to enhance student learning.
4. Guiding postgraduate students in their research projects and dissertations.
5. Participating in departmental meetings and contributing to curriculum development.
6. Collaborating with other faculty members to design and deliver interdisciplinary courses.
7. Maintaining accurate records of student performance and progress.
8. Contributing to the development of the university's research and academic programs.
Postgraduate Students
As an ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR, you will be responsible for guiding master level courses, project guidance, and supervision of research projects. You will also be required to mentor students in their research and academic pursuits, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.
Required Qualifications
To be eligible for this position, you must possess a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from a recognized university. A minimum of 55% marks at the Master's level is also required. NET (UGC-NET) or SLET qualification is essential if you have not completed your Ph.D. You should also have a strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
