Role Summary
Sr University, a premier educational institution in Telangana, invites applications for the post of ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR in the Department of Renewable Energy. As an ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR, the incumbent will be responsible for teaching, research, and academic administration.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Renewable Energy to students in Sr University.
- Develop and deliver course materials, including lectures, assignments, and exams.
- Conduct tutorials, seminars, and workshops for students.
- Guide research projects and supervise students in their research work.
- Evaluate student performance and provide feedback.
- Participate in academic committees and contribute to the development of the department.
- Maintain a strong research profile, with publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the department to develop curriculum and teaching methodologies.
- Develop industry partnerships and collaborations for research and academic projects.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in the field of Renewable Energy and integrate this knowledge into the curriculum.
Master Level Teaching
- Teach master level courses in Renewable Energy, including Energy Policy, Renewable Energy Systems, and Energy Storage.
- Guide students in their research projects and supervise their thesis work.
- Provide feedback and guidance to students on their research work and academic progress.
- Develop and deliver course materials, including lectures, assignments, and exams.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Renewable Energy or a related field with a minimum of 55% marks.
- UGC-NET or UGC-SLET qualification is mandatory for candidates without a Ph.D.
- Publications in peer-reviewed journals in the field of Renewable Energy.
- Experience in teaching and research in a university or college setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Learning and Development
- Meet the API score requirements for promotion to the post of Professor.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in the field of Renewable Energy and integrate this knowledge into the curriculum.
- Participate in academic and professional development activities to enhance teaching and research skills.
