Position Overview
Gems Founders School in Dubai City, Dubai is seeking an experienced Uk Primary Islamic Studies Teacher to join our educational team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Islamic Studies to Uk Primary students and contributing to the school's mission of providing a high-quality education to students from diverse backgrounds.
Your Role
* Teach Islamic Studies to Uk Primary students using the KHDA approved curriculum
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the needs of students with varying learning styles and abilities
* Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to students, parents, and colleagues
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum changes and improvements
* Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
* Contribute to the school's extracurricular activities and events, such as Islamic Studies competitions and cultural events
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
* Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and other stakeholders through regular updates and progress reports
Who Can Apply
Must Have
* Bachelor's degree in Islamic Studies, Education, or a related field
* PGCE or B.Ed or teaching license from home country with attestation
* IELTS 6.0+ for non-native English teachers
* KHDA/MOE teacher license or ability to obtain
* Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a similar role
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good to Have
* Master's degree in Islamic Studies, Education, or a related field
* Experience of teaching in a multicultural classroom environment
* Familiarity with the KHDA approved curriculum
* Strong knowledge of Islamic Studies and its applications in education
