Key Responsibilities
1. Teach Moral Social And Cultural Studies (msc) to UK primary students, adhering to the KHDA approved curriculum and ensuring academic excellence in a multicultural classroom.
2. Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students, including those with special educational needs.
3. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to students, parents, and colleagues as required.
4. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and to enhance the overall quality of education.
5. Participate in staff meetings, professional development programs, and school events to contribute to the growth and success of the school community.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and achievements, including attendance, grades, and assessment scores.
7. Develop and implement assessments and evaluations to measure student learning outcomes and inform instruction.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the position, applicants must hold a B.Ed or PGCE degree in a relevant field, or a Bachelor's degree with a teaching license. The ideal candidate will also possess a strong teaching license from their home country with attestation. Non-native English speakers must demonstrate a minimum IELTS 6.0+ or TOEFL equivalent. Applicants must also have at least 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a UK primary school setting. A teaching license from the home country with attestation is also required.
Perks and Pay
As a member of the Gems Founders School team, the successful candidate can expect a competitive salary range of AED 9,000 - AED 13,000 per month. In addition, the school offers a range of benefits, including tax-free salary, housing allowance or accommodation, annual flights, medical insurance, tuition fee discount for dependents, and end of service gratuity as per UAE Labor Law.
Visa & Relocation
Gems Founders School will provide sponsorship for the successful candidate's visa and relocation to Dubai City, Dubai. The school will also assist with the process of obtaining a teaching license in the UAE and obtaining a police clearance certificate.
