About This Role
As a Uk Secondary Art And Craft Teacher at Gems Founders School, you will be teaching students aged between 11 and 18 years old. You will be responsible for planning and delivering creative and engaging art and craft lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students. Your lessons will be based on the KHDA-approved curriculum, and you will be expected to assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and creative art and craft lessons to students aged between 11 and 18 years old.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support student learning.
- Develop and implement art and craft projects that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
- Manage and maintain a safe and organized art and craft classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the art and craft curriculum.
- Supervise students during art and craft activities and ensure their safety.
- Maintain records of student progress and attendance.
- Stay up-to-date with developments in art and craft education and implement best practices in the classroom.
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Art and Craft, Education, or a related field. You must also have a teaching license from your home country, which must be attested by the UAE Embassy. A PGCE or B.Ed qualification is highly desirable. Additionally, you must be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the KHDA-approved curriculum and have experience of teaching art and craft to students aged between 11 and 18 years old.
Salary and Benefits
You will receive a tax-free salary of AED 13,000 - AED 18,000 per month, depending on your experience and qualifications. You will also receive a housing allowance to help you settle in Dubai City, Dubai. Annual flights will be provided for you and your dependents to return to your home country for holidays. Medical insurance will be provided for you and your dependents, and you will be entitled to a tuition fee discount for your dependents who attend Gems Founders School. At the end of your contract, you will receive a gratuity payment as per the UAE Labor Law.
