Position Overview
Gems Founders School in Dubai City is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Uk Secondary English Teacher to join our team of dedicated educators. As a seasoned English Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching English to secondary students, developing and implementing engaging lesson plans, and assessing student progress. Your Role
- Deliver high-quality English lessons to secondary students, following the KHDA-approved curriculum.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of students with varying abilities.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum projects and activities.
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development workshops to enhance teaching skills.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and events to promote a positive learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues through various mediums.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
Required Qualifications
Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in English or related field with a teaching license from home country.
- Postgraduate certification in education (B.Ed or PGCE) or equivalent.
- IELTS 6.0+ or TOEFL equivalent for non-native English speakers.
- KHDA or MOE teacher license or ability to obtain.
Good to Have
- Master's degree in English or related field.
- Teaching experience in a multicultural setting.
- Familiarity with the KHDA-approved curriculum.
Desired Competencies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic learning environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Willingness to take on additional responsibilities and contribute to school events.
Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate will receive a tax-free salary of AED 13,000 - AED 18,000 per month, depending on experience. In addition to the salary, the school offers a range of benefits, including:

- Medical insurance for employee and dependents.
- Tuition fee discount for dependents studying at Gems Founders School.
- End of service gratuity as per UAE Labor Law.
KHDA Requirements
